FAQ
Q: I'm a non-profit. How can I get help from AZGiveCamp?
A: See the non-profit section of our web site and then get in contact with us through our contacts page. We’ll want to know some basic information about what your non-profit or charity does, and what sort of help you’re looking for. We’ll work with you to identify some details about what you need and help through every step of the process through the weekend of the event.
Q: My non-profit is very small, and I don’t have an IT staff. Can I still get help?
A: Absolutely! In fact, smaller organizations are our favorites! The whole point of GiveCamp is to help smaller non-profits and charities that may not have any other IT support.
Q: My non-profit has an existing application that doesn’t quite do what we need, and I would like it to be modified. Can GiveCamp help me do that?
A: Maybe. A lot will depend on some technical questions that our non-profit coordinators can help you find the answer to. Feel free to email us through the Contact Us page, and someone will follow up.
Q: What are the expectations of non-profits at AZGiveCamp?
A: It’s very important that non-profits be as excited and willing to work as we are. Work will have to be done before the event to identify what kind of work the non-profits need whether the scope of the work is appropriate for a weekend event. We can help non-profits during this planning phase. During the event, we ask that non-profits have someone on site that can give guidance and feedback for most of the weekend. The volunteers working on your project will need someone they can turn to ask questions and help plan the behavior and look of whatever is being developed. A close working relationship with non-profits is key to getting an end product everyone is happy with!
